Scientific study provides evidence that meditation reduces stress and alleviates anxiety. It also sparks creativity, enhances work performance, presents out-of-the-box solutions to problems, provides spiritual enrichment, all the while infusing the world with hope. Defining meditation
Presenting the building blocks which serve as the foundation for any meditation practice
Presenting a broad overview of different ways to meditate
Explaining the benefits of daily practice
These topics will be discussed during the lecture portion of each workshop. Following the lecture, the presenter will lead the participants in breathing and meditating practices. Each session will conclude with a Q&A. This Meditation Workshop is suitable for all, regardless of their levels of practice. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged; however, attending even one will enhance one’s understanding and expand one’s awareness of the possibilities.
This series has three meetings on Wednesdays 1/16, 1/30, and 2/13 at 6:30 p.m.
